Langkawi International Airport (04 9551311) at Padang Mat Sirat is situated 20 kilometers from Kuah and 8 kilometers from the beach resorts in Pantai Cenang. Flights straight from Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi are provided everyday by the Malaysia Airlines (MAS) while the AirAsia Airlines provides flights five times a week. Tourists from Singapore may board the Silk Air Airlines which offers flights to the island, 4 times a week. For ticket reservations, please contact:

Ferry Services

Ferry Express provides services to Langkawi Island everyday from the two jetties in Kuala Kedah and Kuala Perlis. The journey to Langkawi Island from Kuala Kedah takes around 1 hour 15 minutes and to Kuala Perlis, the journey takes up 45 minutes while the journey from Penang takes around 2 hours and 30 minutes.
